Mom's walking!

It's amazing how the world turns.

Mom was so excited when we kids each took our first steps as babies and now we are excited to see hers. She walked 180 feet today and is doing so well they moved her to "progressive" care on the third floor in room 23--higher floor than ICU, better visiting hours but smaller room to accommodate visitors.

The rest of this letter is dictated directly from Mom:

"I'm reviewing the situation. My last phases are very interesting and really quite exciting to see the Lord's handiwork. It's interesting how the body grows old and the mind seems to grow younger. It's been interesting to review the experiences of my life and see my children have the same experiences that it seemed I had just yesterday.

Thanks to all for the love. It's so great that there are so many around the world who remember and love us. It's amazing. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
