It is a new morning, and Jann and I are slow getting out of the house (don't judge us!). Spending our days at the hospital gives us very little time to do much of anything else. Knowing Mom is taken care of in ICU and out of danger, we're trying to catch up on a few necessary things... hopefully we'll get there for the 10:00 visiting hour. In any case, we'll sneak in when we get there.
I called Mom to let her know we would be late, and was able to get her morning report. She is up and bathed, arterial line and catheter out, and waiting anxiously for her food. She may even be back on the 3rd floor in the progressive care unit by the time we get there. Kyle went up last night to the 5th floor (the rehab floor) and found out that they have her on the list to come up there today or tomorrow, depending on Mom's progress. That would be great. We'll have to see how the day goes. We're praying mightily for a good day!
